Amenorrhea

she almost always hears the same things:
"It happens."
"It's just stress."
"Unfortunately, that's just how your body is. There's nothing you can do about it."
"You have premature menopause."
"Your AMH is too low."
"Just take the pill and the problem is solved."
Or, even worse...
"You'll just have to learn to live with it."
Every week I meet women who come to me after years, or even decades, without a menstrual cycle.
Many have stopped believing that their bodies can ever function normally again.
Many are frightened.
Some feel broken.
Others believe their bodies have abandoned them.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The female body possesses an extraordinary biological intelligence.
It does not stop menstruating out of spite.
It does not suddenly decide to stop ovulating.
It does not choose to take away such an essential part of your physiology.
When your menstrual cycle disappears...
your body believes that something else has become more important than reproduction.
Because, from a biological perspective,
survival will always come before fertility.
And this is exactly where the question that guides all of my work begins:
Yes, you read that correctly.
I have also accompanied women who had never experienced a menstrual period in their entire lives.
Over the years, I have worked with women who, despite being well into their twenties, had never had a spontaneous menstrual cycle.
For many professionals, these were considered cases with no possibility of change.
For me, they were simply bodies telling a story that had not yet been fully understood.
One of those women was Simona.
She was twenty-eight years old and had never experienced her first menstrual period.
Over the years she had undergone countless medical appointments, investigations, treatments and attempts to induce menstruation.
Yet nothing had succeeded in allowing her body to activate that function naturally, Our work was completely different.
We did not try to force her body.
Instead, we asked a different question: Why didn't her body feel able to express this physiological function?
Together, we worked to restore what had gradually lost its balance.
We supported the systems that were working under the greatest strain.
We restored order.
We helped rebuild the internal connections her body needed.
And when, two months later, her body finally felt ready...
she experienced her very first spontaneous menstrual period.
This is one of the deepest differences between my approach and many others.
I don't believe the body should be forced.
I believe it should be understood.
That is why I don't work to "bring your period back."
I work to help your body regain the best possible conditions to reactivate, whenever possible, its own natural physiological capacity for adaptation.
Every body possesses an extraordinary intelligence.
Very often it doesn't need someone to force a function.
It simply needs someone to remove the obstacles preventing it from expressing that function.
As I often say...
I don't fight the body.
I help it remember what it was created to do.
Traditionally, all the attention is focused on the absence of menstruation.
I choose to ask a different question.
Why did your body feel the need to interrupt that rhythm?
Because your menstrual cycle is part of a much larger picture. It reflects the health of:
π your hormonal system
π your nervous system
π your gut
π your metabolism
π your sleep
π your nutrition
π your emotional wellbeing
π your body's ability to adapt
π your personal history
For this reason, I never look at amenorrhea as an isolated event.
It may sound like an unusual statement, but it perfectly reflects my philosophy.
I don't work simply to "make your period return."
I work to help your body regain the conditions that support its natural balance.
When the body begins to feel supported again...
its physiology often starts to express itself once more.
That is why my work never begins with a diagnosis.
It always begins with the body.
Every woman has a different story.
β οΈ For some, amenorrhea appears after years of chronic stress.
β οΈ For others, after significant weight loss.
β οΈ After the loss of a loved one.
β οΈ After pregnancy.
β οΈ After years of inadequate nutrition.
β οΈ Following certain medical treatments.
β οΈ After periods of intense physical training.
β οΈ Or after particularly difficult life experiences.
In other cases, it may be associated with PCOS, endometriosis, premature menopause, or other conditions.
But regardless of the diagnosis...
I continue asking the same question.
Every journey begins in exactly the same way.
πΈ Not with your symptoms.
πΈ Not with your laboratory tests.
πΈ Not with your diagnosis.
It begins with observing your body.
Before our consultation, I will ask you to send photographs of your tongue, your face, your abdomen and other elements that allow me to begin reading your body's story.
Because your body reveals far more than you might imagine.
Through my Tongue Protocol, I integrate these observations with female physiology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, psychosomatic medicine, epigenetics, family genealogy and other approaches dedicated to women's health.
Not to search for a theoretical explanation...
but to create a truly personalised path designed specifically for you.
My goal is much greater than that.
I want you to understand:
πΏ why your body interrupted your menstrual cycle
πΏ which systems are asking for support
πΏ how to truly care for your body
πΏ how to recognise its signals
πΏ how to become an active participant in your own health
Because seeing your period return is important.
But understanding why it disappeared is even more valuable.
Throughout your journey, we will continue comparing the photographs of your tongue.
We will observe the changes together.
Your protocol will be adjusted whenever necessary.
Because your body is constantly changing...
and it deserves to be supported every step of the way.
The women whose stories you'll discover on this page didn't simply have amenorrhea.
π They each had a story.
π Many had lost hope.
π Many had been told that nothing would ever change.
I invite you to listen to their experiences.
Not because your journey will be the same as theirs...
but because they may remind you of something incredibly important.
Your body is not your enemy.
Perhaps...
it has simply been waiting for someone to finally listen.
Amenorrhea is not where the journey ends.
It is where a different conversation begins.
If this way of understanding the female body resonates with you, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
Together, we will create a completely personalised path based
on your story, your physiology, and what your body is trying to communicate.
If you would like to explore the philosophy behind my work more deeply, I recommend reading my book, Tongue Protocol.
Inside, I share my personal story, the principles behind my method, real clinical cases, and the 15 essential steps that help women begin developing a deeper understanding of their bodies.
Reading it before your First Consultation is not required.
However, many women tell me that it allowed them to experience the entire journey with a completely new perspective.
