PREMATURE MENOPAUSE

Receiving a diagnosis of early menopause can be one of the most difficult moments in a woman’s life.
For many, it means suddenly seeing the dream of motherhood collapse.
For others, it means suddenly feeling “old.”
For others still, it means feeling as though their body has stopped functioning.
Every week, I meet women who come to me after being told:
"Your ovaries have run out."
"There is nothing more that can be done."
"Your AMH is too low."
"You should consider egg donation."
"You are in menopause."
"You simply have to accept it now."
"Your body has decided this. There is nothing you can do about it."
Many come to their consultation in tears, convinced that their own body has betrayed them.
And so I would like to ask you something.
A diagnosis can describe what is happening at a particular moment, but it does not tell your whole story.
It does not tell your story.
It does not tell how you have lived through the past few years.
It does not tell about your habits.
It does not tell about your sleep.
It does not tell how you eat.
It does not tell about your perceived level of stress.
It does not tell about your relationship with your body.
It does not tell about the environment in which you live.
And above all… it does not define the woman you are.
That is why I start with the person.
With her story.
With her physiology.
With what we can observe and understand today.
This sentence surprises many women:
I work on the health of the woman who is experiencing this situation.
It may seem like a simple difference in wording.
In reality, it completely changes the way we look at the journey.
I do not see:
❌ low AMH
❌ elevated FSH
❌ absence of menstruation
❌ a diagnosis
❌ a difficulty related to reproduction
I see:
a woman.
A physiology.
A story.
A body.
A whole range of aspects of health that deserve to be observed.
This is where my work begins:
understanding the person as a whole and working on the aspects of health that fall within my professional scope.
One of the phrases I hear most often is:
"My AMH is extremely low."
Or:
"They told me I no longer have ovarian reserve."
I would like to remind you of something important.
A test gives you a piece of information; it does not tell your whole story.
It does not tell about:
❌ your nutrition
❌ your sleep
❌ your perceived level of stress
❌ your movement
❌ your bowel function
❌ your daily energy
❌ your habits
❌ your relationship with your body
❌ your personal history
❌ the environment in which you live
In my approach, these aspects of health also deserve to be observed.
Over the years, I have learned how important it is not to separate health from a person’s life, and that the body carries memory:
Not only biological memory, but also emotional, family and relational memory.
Many women I meet have gone through periods characterised by:
🌙 intense and prolonged stress
🌙 major responsibilities
🌙 bereavement
🌙 emotionally difficult events
🌙 major life changes
🌙 disordered eating
🌙 exhausting lifestyles
🌙 lack of rest
🌙 years spent always putting everyone else first
This does not mean that early menopause has a single cause, and it does not mean that these aspects can automatically be considered the explanation for the diagnosis.
It means that, when I meet a woman, this part of her story also deserves to be heard.
Every journey begins with the person.
Before the consultation, I will carefully analyse:
✔ photographs of your tongue
✔ your face
✔ your abdomen
✔ your story
Through my Tongue Protocol, I use observation of the body as one of the tools within my method.
These observations are integrated with knowledge of female physiology, your story, your habits and the aspects of health that emerge during the consultation.
I do not start with the question:
“How can we make your period come back?”
I start with a broader question:
During the journey, we can work on aspects of health and everyday life that can be supported and modified, where appropriate:
🌿 nutrition and meal organisation
🌿 sleep quality and regularity
🌿 daily rhythm
🌿 movement
🌿 breathing
🌿 management of perceived stress
🌿 bowel function
🌿 everyday habits
🌿 relationship with your body
🌿 the environment in which you live
🌿 awareness of bodily signals
🌿 self-care
The journey is personalised. There is no identical protocol for every woman.
Over the years, I have met women who had received very different diagnoses and prognoses.
Women who had been offered egg donation.
Women with very low AMH levels.
Women who had not had a period for some time.
Women who had completely lost trust in their bodies.
Their stories are different.
And precisely because of this, I do not want to turn them into promises.
A testimonial tells the story of what happened to that particular woman, but it can remind us of something important:
I am a Midwife and have been working in the field of women’s health for over twenty years.
My work is rooted in my knowledge of female physiology, the experience I have gained over the years, and my observation of women as a whole.
I focus on aspects of health that fall within my professional scope, observing:
• the person and her story
• her habits
• her menstrual history
• nutrition
• sleep
• movement
• bowel function
• daily energy
• perceived stress
• her relationship with her body
• her lifestyle
• the environment in which she lives
I work with the person as a whole.
My role is to observe, listen, connect, understand and accompany.
Here you will meet women who have experienced moments of great emotional strain.
Women who had been told words that were difficult to hear:
• “You are in menopause.”
• “Your ovarian reserve is very low.”
• “You should consider egg donation.”
• “There are no possibilities.”
Their stories are testimonies of real journeys and perhaps they can remind you of something:
Your body is not your enemy.
It deserves to be heard.
It deserves to be understood.
It deserves to be supported.
Early menopause may be an important part of your story, but it is not your whole story.
You are so much more than a laboratory value.
So much more than a diagnosis.
So much more than a medical report.
If you feel that this way of looking at women’s health resonates with you too, I will be happy to accompany you.
Together, we will build a personalised journey, shaped by your story, your physiology and the aspects of health that we can observe and support in your everyday life.
If you would like to understand more deeply the philosophy behind my work.
Inside, you will find my story, real-life cases, the method I use and the 15 fundamental steps that accompany each woman towards a deeper understanding of her body.
You do not need to read it before your First Consultation, but many women tell me that it has allowed them to approach their journey with an entirely new level of awareness.
